Wepa Privacy Policy

Wepa is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This policy describes how Wepa uses information that we collect through your interactions with our services.
By using any of our services, you acknowledge the privacy practices described in this policy. You also acknowledge that you have read this policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We collect information you provide to us. For example, we collect information when you create a Wepa account, when you print documents, or when you contact support. The information we collect depends on context and could include:
Name
Email Address
Campus Username
Student id number
The last four digits of payment cards used per PCI standards
The names of documents that you print
Metadata of the documents you print (file name, number of pages, file type, print options)
Print data of the files that you print
Information We Automatically Collect
We automatically collect certain information about your interactions with us, including:
Transaction Information
When you make a payment or deposit to your account, we collect information about the transaction:
Payment method
Payment service approval code
Time and location of purchase or deposit
Authentication/payment token to facilitate future purchases
Device and Usage Information
We collect information about how you access our services, including data about the device and network that you use, such as hardware model, operating system version, IP address, browser type, and app version. We collect information about your activity on our services, such as access times, pages viewed, and links clicked.
Your Content
As you allow through your device or application, we collect content stored on your device such as documents or photos that you specifically select for printing. We do not collect documents or photos that you do not choose.
Information Collected by Cookies
Wepa uses cookies to identify and remember authentication information about our customers. This helps us to tailor our website to our customer needs.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.
Information Collected by Authentication Token
When you link your Wepa Account to a third-party storage service such as Google Drive, Office 365, Dropbox, Box, or similar service, Wepa retains an authentication token that allows access to the third- party service without a fresh authentication each time you use our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information that we collect to:
Deliver the services that you request
Maintain and improve our products, services, and features, including repairing errors in our service
Personalize your experience with us
Respond to your support inquiries and comments
Monitor and analyze trends and usage related to our products and services
Detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, or illegal activity
Comply with our legal and financial obligations
How We Share Your Information
Wepa will not sell, lease, or distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law to do so.
Wepa shares your information in the following circumstances:
Print transaction details (username, time and place of document release, number of pages, payment method, payment amount, and upload method) may be shared with our campus customers as part of standard reporting and financial reconciliation
If you submit a public product review, we may share this information publicly
We may disclose information if we believe the disclosure is required by any applicable law or legal process
Data Retention
Data that is retained indefinitely
Account details (username, email address, first name, last name, student id number)
Deposit and payment details including the last four digits of payment cards used
The names of documents that you print
Metadata of the documents you print (file name, number of pages, file type, print options, time of release, location of release, payment method, upload method)
Data that is retained for a period of time
Print data of a file you print is retained for six days from the time of upload
Authentication tokens from third-party storage and payment services remain valid for a length of time determined by the service
Privacy of Children
Wepa products are not intended for children. We do not direct our services to children under 13, or knowingly attempt to receive information from children.
Notice to California Consumers
If you are a California consumer, the following provisions apply to our processing of information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you or your household (“California Personal Information”). For California consumers, the provisions of this California section prevail over any conflicting provisions in other sections of this Privacy Policy.
We have collected the following categories of California Personal Information with the last 12 months from the sources listed below:
Identifiers, such as real name, unique username, IP address, email address, student id number, or other similar identifiers. This category of information is collected from you, your devices, and third-parties such as your school or organization.
Personal information described in subdivision (e) of Section 1798.80 such as name, address, telephone number, last four digits of credit card numbers, or other payment information. This category of information is collected from you and/or your devices.
Commercial information, including products or services purchased. This information is collected when you purchase from Wepa.
Internet or similar network activity, specifically, browsing history on Wepa’s sites and applications. This category of information is collected from you and your devices.

For each of the above categories, we use the California Personal Information for business purposes such as:
Audits and reporting relating to transactions and interactions with us
Detecting and protecting against security incidents, and malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity
Debugging to identify and repair errors in our systems
Providing services on our behalf, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, fulfilling transactions, verifying identity, processing payments, and other services
Conducting internal research
Other business purposes described in the “How We Use Your Information” section Within the last 12 months, we have not disclosed California Personal Information.
We do not sell, and within the last 12 months, we have not sold California Personal Information.
If you are a California consumer, you have certain rights related to your California Personal Information, including the right to request that we disclose to you:
The specific pieces of California Personal Information we have collected
The categories of California Personal Information we have collected about you
The categories of sources from which the California Personal Information is collected
Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling California Personal Information
The categories of third parties to whom we share California Personal Information (we don’t do this)

As required under applicable law, please note that we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request. We may require you to provide your name and email address, and you will, therefore, need access to your email account to receive our communications necessary to process your request.
Under California law, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. You may make such a designation by providing the agent with written permission to act on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide proof of that written permission. As permitted by law, we may require you to verify your own identity in response to a request, even if you choose to use an agent.
We may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the above rights or any other rights, subject to the rights and the obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including by:
Denying you good or services
Charging different prices or rates for goods or services
Proving you a different level or quality of goods or services
Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services
California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b) (as amended effective January 1, 2014) provides that California residents are entitled to know how we respond to “Do Not Track” browser settings. We do not currently take actions to respond to Do Not Track signals because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed.
Processing of Information
Wepa is headquartered in the United States and operates only in the United States. All of our operations and data storage are within the United States, and no data is stored or processed outside of the United States.
Controlling Your Personal Information
Subject to certain limitations, you have the right to:
Request to know more about the categories and specific information that we collect
Request deletion of your personal information
Opt out of sales of your personal information (we don’t sell your personal information)
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Account Information
You may update or correct certain information, or delete your account, by calling us at 800-675-7639 or emailing help@wepanow.com. Some information may be controlled and determined by our integration with the directory at the campus that you attend (username, student id number, first name, last name). If you are unsure where to update information, contact us at 800-675-7639 or help@wepanow.com.
Location Information
When you use our mobile app to locate print stations, you are asked to consent to the collection of location information. You can stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device or by uninstalling our application from your device.
Authentication Tokens for third-party storage services
To remove Wepa’s access to a third-party storage service:
Log in to https://wepanow.com and choose the Unlink option for the service
Log in to the storage service and remove Wepa’s access using the instructions for that service

We may change this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about our practices and the options available to you.
